These attires and props were believed to be appropriate and suitable for the group to acquire.
Smart Attires - The group is called 'The Teachers' and they are a Soul group, targetting an adult audience. This is why I believe that the attires of this category presented in the slideshow were absolutely necessary for the group, as this is what would attract fans of the genre the most into the edition of the magazine, as he audience would be mature and sophisticated; this being reflected in the costumes.
Casual Attires - Although the group is supposed to be very sophisticated and smartly dressed, I also want to portray a more relaxed, calm and 'chilled' vibe and persona to them, to show that they d0 have a fun personality and also telling the audience that even though they are supposedly a massive and successful group, they are still only human and have days off for themselves, and do like to dress in clothes that they are most comfortable with. This can allow the audience to warm up to them to a better extent and welcome them to a greater level, as they can feel that they can understand the group more and feel easier to affiliate themselves with the artists.
Props - These props are desired to be used in the photo shoot as they can help to increase the levels of authenticity and realism to a great extent, and allow the group to feel fitting and suited to the genre. They are all idyllic, stereotypical items that would normally be associated with the genre, so I believed it would be appropriate to place them in the photo shoot.
