Some messing and fiddling around with various types of fonts that could possibly be used for the title and logo of the magazine. In ways they all seemed to be rather impressive however many had to be eliminated from use, as they didn’t quite fit in to the theme that I wanted to portray with the genre of the magazine.
The second picture shows a redrafted selection of typography that were decided to be more appropriate for the magazine, however after sturdy analysis and comparisons, the conclusion was formed that the second font, down towards the left hand side would be the most ideal to use and should therefore be taken forward as it seemed to provide a sense of professionalism and hold an official touch to it, without having to look to bland, fancy or complicated.
Looking back on he different examples I changed my opinion on one of the samples from the first draft of fonts, and I had decided to also consider further developing upon the second to last typography for the ‘SMOOTH’ title, however to perhaps change the effects on it and rid of the lines that are within it.
